Dear Parents/Guardian,

Choosing the right high school is an important decision. Life long friendships are forged; moral decision-making is nurtured; life skills are honed; patterns of behavior are developed. It is also during there important years that the transformation from teenager to adulthood occurs. I am certain that all these issues, along with the desire to provide your son with a strong education, were factors you considered when you chose your son’s current school. Once again, you and your son are faced with the decision of what school to attend. As you contemplate the completion of your son’s (Elementary or Jr. High) education, I encourage you to consider Don Bosco Technical Institute and our unique programs.

Don Bosco Tech offers:

  • A college preparatory and technology education, featuring five exciting Academies to choose from.

  • A wholesome Catholic education under the direction of the Salesians of Don Bosco.

  • Over 350 computers in ten computer labs.

  • Extensive use of computers throughout the school curriculum.

  • Moral values taught by caring and qualified faculty in a friendly, supportive and safe environment.

  • State of the art science facility.

  • A full program of student activities, clubs and campus ministry.

  • Peer counseling and leadership programs.

  • Nine interscholastic sports.

  • Don Bosco Tech’s top graduates are enrolled at the nation’s finest universities that include: Harvard, MIT, Cal Tech, LMU, USC, UCLA, UCI, and Cal Poly.

At Don Bosco Tech, we appreciate and honor the sacrifice parents make to ensure their son receives a quality Catholic education – and recognize that there are many other fine Catholic high schools from which to choose. As you consider your options, I invite you to attend Don Bosco Tech’s Open House on Sunday, November 23. Explore our campus and examine our programs – speak to faculty and current students to get a sense of who we are and what we do. If you are unable to attend our Open House, please feel free to request a personal tour. If you have any questions regarding our school or simply desire a tour, please call our Director of Admissions, Michael Smith, at 626-940-2011 or e-mail msmith@boscotech.edu.

May God’s grace and wisdom be with you and your family as you endeavor to select a high school that will best meet your son’s educational and personal needs.

Sincerely,

Sharon J. Morano
President
